Thermal Transfer Labels – Labels that are printed using a thermal ribbon, commonly used as address labels, product labelling or as barcode labels. Thermal transfer labels are readily available in either gloss, semi gloss or standard matt white finishes, wide or narrow edge leading off the roll. Direct Thermal Labels – Labels that are printed using heat from the printer head to produce the image on this specific label material, these label do not need a thermal ribbon. Our range of direct thermal material consists of standard thermal Eco and full coated thermal materials. The thermal Eco product is a normal uncoated face material, used for addressing and box labelling whilst the coated paper material is scratch proof more commonly used for product POS labelling and bar-coding.
